Quick setup, good features

Bought the yearly plan. Set up three sites with WordPress Site Management. Cloud provisioning was fast. Automated backups are working fine. Support answered my question about WP-CLI quickly. Good product.

Easy to get started

So, I needed to get a new WordPress site going for a side project and heard about FlyWP. I just grabbed the Single Server Management plan. It was pretty easy to link up my Vultr server. I got WordPress installed without any hiccups, and the Free SSL was set up automatically, which was cool. Didn't have to mess with any complicated stuff. It just worked. Nice and simple, exactly what I needed.

Good features, easy to use

I decided to try FlyWP for managing a couple of WordPress sites on my own cloud. The ordering process for the Unlimited Server Plan was straightforward on their website. I received my confirmation email quickly. Getting my first DigitalOcean server provisioned through FlyWP was pretty seamless; it took about 15 minutes to get everything set up, including installing WordPress. I used the Free SSL Certificates, which was a nice touch, and setting up Redis Caching made a noticeable difference in site speed. I contacted support once about a minor Nginx Configuration question, and they got back to me within a few hours with a clear answer. The Server Monitoring and Log Viewer tools are comprehensive and give a good overview of what's happening. The only small thing was finding the Git Deployment option; it took a moment to locate in the dashboard, but once I did, it worked fine. Overall, a very capable panel that delivers on its promises.

Decent panel, few small gripes

I purchased the Unlimited Server Plan during an early bird offer to manage a few client sites. The Cloud Server Provisioning worked well with AWS, and setting up Multisite Support was surprisingly easy. Automated Backups give me peace of mind, and the Team Management feature is great for my small agency. However, I did notice the Server Health Alerts could be a bit more granular; sometimes I get a general alert without enough specific detail to quickly diagnose an issue. Also, while the Database Optimization feature is useful, it's not as extensive as some standalone tools I've used. Delivery of the access credentials was instant, which was good. Overall, it's a solid platform and good value, but those small improvements would make it even better.

Solid choice for managing WP

I've been using FlyWP for over a year now, mainly for Single Server Management and Automated Backups. This time I added a new server and set up Staging Sites for a client. The setup was just as smooth as my previous experiences. It's really consistent; everything works as expected. The interface feels familiar, and I appreciate that I don't have to relearn anything. That reliability is why I keep coming back, it just handles my WordPress sites without fuss.

I'm thinking of signing up for the yearly plan. Is there usually a way to get a discount on that, or is it full price usually?

R Renee S. 1 month ago
They often have 20% off annual plans. Sometimes there are seasonal sales too. Check their blog around November/December.

Yeah, I always wait for the yearly discounts. They're pretty common, especially if you catch an 'early bird' or seasonal offer.

Saw a mention of a lifetime deal somewhere. Are those still around or was it a limited-time thing?

A Alex Kaur 2 months ago
They pop up occasionally, usually through platforms like AppSumo or StackSocial. Keep an eye out around big sale times like Black Friday.

I got mine last year during a special promo. They're not always available on their main site, often it's through a partner deal. Worth waiting for if you can!

Does FlyWP handle the actual hosting or do I still need to get a server somewhere else?

R Renee L. 1 month ago
Nah, it's just the management panel. You gotta bring your own server from AWS, DigitalOcean, etc. FlyWP helps you set everything up on it.

Yeah, it's not a host. Think of it as a fancy control panel for your cloud servers. It makes managing WordPress on them super easy though.

What if I wanna manage a bunch of WordPress sites, like for clients? Is there a plan that makes that easy for agencies?

W Wendy P. 2 months ago
They have an unlimited server plan and an agency dashboard. Designed exactly for that, makes team management and client sites a breeze.

Definitely. The agency plan bundles everything you need and gives you tools for managing multiple servers and sites efficiently. Plus, there are sometimes specific agency discounts.

Can I try FlyWP out before committing to a plan? Like, is there a free trial or something?

R Raj 2 months ago
Yep, pretty sure they offer a free trial. You can test it out to see if it fits your workflow.

They do! You can definitely sign up for a trial period to kick the tires. It's usually enough time to get a feel for it.
